​Roots of Chaos is “the” band of diversity, we come form all different, places, backgrounds, ethnicity, and ages. With all that there is that one unifying common banding bond of Rock & Roll.



We derive our name “Roots of Chaos” by combining the idea of the roots of Rock & Roll and the Chaos theory. The first part “Roots”, is our homage to the past Rock & Roll and “of Chaos”, is how Rock & Roll has always been so ever changing and you can never rail it down. Like Us as a band Diverse: As like the early 50’s stuff (chuck and the gang), the and then going on to the great birth of blues rock, metal, and progressive. The rawness of Punk even some of the 80’s hair band shit was worth a listen to. Then branching out to Alternative, Ska, and even melding with Hip Hop. Oddly enough we think Twisted Sister actually nailed it with “You Can’t Stop Rock & Roll”!



And out of all that randomness of rock there is that one commonality that brings us as fans to shows and bars, and musicians to form bands (even if they are just to jam out with a few friends). For some it drives them, for others it inspires them. For the Root of Chaos, it brings us uncommon fellows together and unites us as brothers! It becomes a part of what and who we are as individuals. And unites us together as one when we play. Wonder twin powers activate, Form of a BAND!



Is the band just an extension of our alter ego’s? Maybe it’s not quite that far out there man! But one thing is for sure. We are having some serious fun!

Band influenced by: Queen, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Ronnie James Dio, Paul Rodgers, AC/DC, Jaebum Yim, 13th and 14th century medieval music, Budgie, DP, The B52’s, Rush, The Stooges, Hottie and the Blowholes, MC5, Pink Floyd, The BobCats, Motörhead, The Talking Heads, DT, Rage Against The Machine, Jimi Hendrix, Victor Wooten, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rise Against, Asian Kung Fu Generation, Sambo Master, The Roots, Mos Def, Bootsy Collins, Dead Prez, Nujabes, Outkast, Yes & no bout of doubt it baby - Led! Nuf said!
